About this one
Eight seats rather than the usual seven, which is the first thing worth knowing. The third row flips up against the sides rather than folding into the floor, so the boot swallows a bicycle standing upright.
e-POWER works differently from a normal hybrid. The 1.4 petrol engine never drives the wheels at all. It runs purely as a generator and an electric motor does all the driving, which is why it produces 315Nm from a standstill and why the car pulls away like an EV while you still fill it at an ordinary pump. One-Pedal Drive lets you slow the car with the accelerator alone in Smart or Eco mode.
The tailgate opens two ways. Lift the whole thing when you need the full opening, or just the upper hatch when you are parked tight and only need to reach something at the back.
