About this car
The newest car on the list at just under two years old, with 26,000km and eight years of COE left. The Raize uses Toyota's e-Smart Hybrid, where the 1.2 petrol engine never drives the wheels at all. It runs purely as a generator and an electric motor does the driving, so the car pulls away with the instant response of an EV while you still fill it at a normal pump and never plug it in. Road tax is close to the lowest on the list at just over $500 a year.
