About this car
Six years and a month of COE still to run, by far the longest of any car on the list, and the newest registration we have. Toyota's hybrid system is the most proven on the road, using a planetary arrangement rather than a conventional gearbox, which means there is no clutch pack or belt to wear out. The electric motor handles pulling away and stop start traffic, exactly where a petrol engine is least efficient, so the fuel saving is largest in the driving most people here actually do.
