Hold this car
A deposit takes the car off the market while you sort out financing or arrange an inspection. Here is how it works and when you get it back.

What to do
- Transfer $1,000 by PayNow using the UEN or QR above.
- Screenshot the confirmation.
- Send it to me on WhatsApp with your full name and NRIC as it appears on your licence.
- I take the car off the market and confirm the hold in writing, usually the same day.
Deposit terms
- It counts toward the price
- The $1,000 is not a fee. It comes off the purchase price when the deal completes.
- The hold runs 3 working days
- The car is off the market for that period. Nobody else can view it or buy it.
- Full refund if you cancel within the hold
- Change your mind after a viewing or a test drive inside those 3 working days and the whole $1,000 comes back. No deductions.
- Full refund if the loan is rejected
- If the bank turns your application down, the deposit is returned in full at any point, inside or outside the hold. That outcome is not your fault.
- Full refund if the car is not as described
- If an inspection finds something material that was not disclosed, you get everything back.
- Need longer? Ask before it expires
- WhatsApp me before the 3 days are up and say what you are waiting on. Loan approval, a family decision, a workshop slot, all reasonable. Extensions are normally fine and I will confirm the new date in writing.
- If the hold lapses
- If I cannot reach you and the hold expires, the car goes back on sale. I will contact you before that happens, not after.
Vehicles are sold through CarTimes. The sale agreement you sign sets the final terms and takes precedence over this page if anything differs.
